Leadership Programme Structure

One month prior to departure participants will:
• Learn the core skills necessary for their assignment at a one day Leadership Masterclass in the UK. The Masterclass includes a coaching and mentoring workshop together with key business templates reflecting current best practice. A webinar will be held for non-UK participants.
• Identify their own personal objectives/targets for the leadership development programme
• Receive details of their Swazi business assignment and make initial contact with them to understand the main focus areas and prepare for the placement

During the one week placement in Swaziland participants will:
• Mentor a specific Swazi business applying positive problem solving skills
• Work alongside other participants in facilitated sessions to ensure their own personal objectives/targets for the programme are achieved
• Work collaboratively with their local business to produce a business plan incorporating their recommendations

Within one month of return participants will:
• Receive feedback from the Swaziland business regarding changes that have been implemented and development/ progress made
• Present a summary to their management team about their experience and learning
Participants are strongly encouraged to continue the mentoring relationship as part of their on-going development and the development of the Swazi business.
